Drew Baustian is the founder of Multispectral Systems. Coming from an education and career in agriculture, Drew was introduced to drone-based remote sensing while at MicaSense, a multispectral camera company, from 2016-2022. At MicaSense, his small sales team worked with hundreds of academic researchers domestically and internationally, assisting them in getting started with their drone-based data acquisition.

As a licensed drone pilot, he collected and processed data for product testing and sales collateral, logging dozens of flights on a variety of drone systems.

Drew started Multispectral Systems to put his drone-based remote sensing knowledge and skill to work, aiming to help academics & scientists choose the right systems for their research.

Independent support consultant, Stephen Mangum, is a seasoned technical expert with a career dedicated to the intersection of drone technology, advanced sensors, and actionable data. Most recently, he served as a Software Engineer at AgEagle Aerial Systems, where he developed GIS web applications and maintained critical multispectral camera software. With over three years as the Technical Support Lead at MicaSense, Stephen managed global support efforts and headed flight test teams to validate new hardware and software. His deep technical background in multispectral data analysis and automated workflows makes him a vital resource for drone operators seeking to maximize the performance of their equipment.
